Cops Warn Parents About School Van Predator

They don’t know who he is, but they do know what he does.

Toronto Police have issued a public safety alert to parents living in Scarborough and Don Mills about a man they believe is targeting children.

Cops have received several reports about a male who sits in his van until young children walk by on their way to and from school. As they pass by, he exposes himself to them while still in the vehicle.

The incidents began in September when students returned to class, and authorities would like to teach this guy a lesson of their own before he strikes again.

He’s described as:

  • White,
  • 30-40,
  • Short brown or black hair.

His van is a silver-grey or dark-green newer model minivan with what police describe as “lots of windows.”

One possible clue is the time that he strikes. It comes during school hours, which may mean he’s either unemployed, drives for a living or works an alternate shift. But cops aren’t ruling anything out.

If you can expose his identity, call 41 Division at (416) 808-4104 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at (416) 222-TIPS (8477).
