A man is in hospital and a woman is in custody after an early-morning altercation on Wednesday.
Police allege that the violence broke out at a home on Islington Avenue near Lake Shore Boulevard.
The woman allegedly stabbed the 32-year-old man in the upper chest. Emergency crews arrived on scene and rushed the victim to St. Michael’s Hospital.
Luckily, his injuries aren’t serious and he’s expected to recover.
Charges are pending.
