Cheese And Cookie Recalls

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency issued recalls for cookies and cheese this week.

The cookie recall involves President’s Choice Decadent Chocolate Chunk cookies. The treats may contain small pieces of metal and are sold in the Loblaws bakery department.

The affected cookies have the UPC 0 6038383903 8 and are sold in 32g packages.

Customers can take the cookies back to Loblaws for a full refund, with or without a receipt.

And the CFIA issued a warning about Le Belle de Jersey cheese due to possible listeria contamination.

The affected cheese was sold in various weights across Ontario and Quebec between July 27 and Aug. 17.
