Let It Snow: Flurries Fly Throughout The Province

Old man winter is certainly making his presence felt all across Ontario this weekend with snow coming down everywhere from Toronto to Parry Sound.

Areas north of the GTA have seen the bulk of the flurries and that trend will continue.

The Muskoka area has about 20 centimetres from overnight activity. Barrie, Newmarket and Aurora has about five and is currently under a snowsquall warning from Environment Canada.

While heavy snow has been reported in the Vaughan area, Toronto residents should only see about two centimetres of accumulation.

Wind may make put drivers to the tests with gusts of up to 60km/h, but the skies are expected to clear overnight into Sunday.

If you have great photos or video of the snow, send it to us here at Citynews.ca. Just upload them to the Speaker’s Corner box on the right-hand side of the screen or send them to torontoweb@citynews.ca
