Winning ticket for $50-million Lotto Max jackpot sold in Toronto

The willing ticket for the $50-million jackpot in Friday night’s Lotto Max draw was purchased somewhere in Toronto.

The huge jackpot had gone unclaimed in the previous two draws.

There are also three winning tickets for the 20 MaxMillions prizes of $1-million each in Friday’s draw — one of which was sold in Thornhill.

The other tickets were sold in Quebec and on the prairies.

In addition, two tickets sold in Windsor and Toronto are sharing part of the second-prize pool, with two other tickets sold in Western Canada. These tickets are each worth $188,805.90.
