Truck driver seriously hurt in Mississauga crash

A truck driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries after he crashed into a hydro pole in Mississauga Wednesday night.
The accident happened at Kennedy and Britannia roads in Mississauga around 9:45 p.m. when the southbound truck hit the pole, which brought down wires and cut power to the surrounding area.
The driver is expected to recover. Police are now trying to figure out why he lost control of his truck.
Crews had the scene cleared and power restored by the start of the morning rush hour Thursday.
