2-alarm fire at vacant house in North York

A vacant house near Highway 401 and Bathurst Street went up in flames Tuesday morning.
The fire started around 4:30 a.m. in the empty house on Deloraine Avenue and quickly escalated to second-alarm status. Crews managed to get the upper hand about half an hour later.
Neighbours said the house has been vacant for some time.
No injuries were reported.
There’s no word yet on a cause.
