CityNews anchor Gord Martineau is in the Philippines filming his 2013 series for the Herbie Fund and taking photos of the people and places along the way.
He’s also catching up with young people whose lives were saved thanks to your generous donations.
The Herbie Fund is a foundation in support of Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children that allows patients to travel to Canada for life-saving surgeries.
Over the past decade, Martineau has travelled around the world to tell the stories of patients who received operations at SickKids.
He currently serves as the foundation’s Goodwill Ambassador.
