Jays pitcher Morrow suffers setback during rehab

Brandon Morrow suffered a setback during his rehabilitation appearance Monday, re-aggravating the forearm injury that sent him to the disabled list early this month.

The Toronto Blue Jays will examine Morrow before determining how to proceed, manager John Gibbons said.

Morrow pitched two innings for the Dunedin Blue Jays Monday night, allowing five hits, one walk and three earned runs.

Morrow has a 5.63 ERA with 42 strikeouts and 18 walks in 54.1 innings for the Blue Jays this year. He was placed on the 15-day disabled list June 1.

Luis Perez has also suffered a setback in his return from Tommy John surgery, Gibbons said before the game.
