Police are looking for a driver who they say turned into the path of an approaching motorcycle and caused a crash on Friday afternoon.
Just before 3 p.m., a 49-year-old man was riding his motorcycle north on Pharmacy Avenue, north of St. Clair, when he suddenly had to swerve around a dark-coloured vehicle turning left on Leahurst Drive.
The biker then hit a Dodge Caravan going south and was critically hurt. Paramedics took him to a local trauma centre.
The dark vehicle stopped briefly and then continued east on Leahurst. Police would like to speak to the driver.
Officers also believe the driver of a white vehicle leaving the Fas Gas station may have seen the crash and would like him or her to come forward as well.
