Personal trainer accused of sexually assaulting 2 teens

A personal trainer is accused of sexually assaulting two teenage girls who were clients of his.

York regional police said the alleged offences on two girls, aged 13 and 15, took place in Richmond Hill earlier this month.

“It is alleged the man had been sending the victims text messages of a sexually-suggestive nature and that he touched the victims in a sexual manner during training sessions,” York police said in a release Tuesday.

Sammy Freedman, 63, of Toronto, surrendered on Tuesday and is facing two charges each of sexual assault and sexual interference.

Police believe there may be more victims.

Freedman trained the victims at Fitness Connections located at 354 Newkirk Rd. in Richmond Hill, but was not employed by the gym.
