Man shot on Gerrard Street East

A man in his 30s is in life-threatening condition after a shooting in the city’s east end, paramedics confirm.
It happened around 3 p.m. Wednesday on Gerrard Street East near Jones Avenue.
The victim was taken to St. Michael’s Hospital with gunshot wounds to the leg and back.
There has been no word on suspects.
Police continue to investigate.
