Bail hearing postponed for Toronto cop accused of child porn

A bail hearing for a Toronto police officer accused of making child pornography has been postponed.

Dariusz Kisielewski, 44, of Mississauga, was scheduled for a bail hearing on Wednesday morning, but it has been delayed until Sept. 30.

Kisielewski was arrested and charged after police executed a search warrant at his home last Thursday.

Police told CityNews on Tuesday that he is a member of the Toronto police force. But they declined further comment. Mike McCormack, the head of the police union, wasn’t immediately available for comment.

Reports say the constable was suspended with pay.

Kisielewski faces single counts of making child pornography and possession of child pornography and three counts of voyeurism.

He remains in custody pending the outcome of the bail hearing.
