Animal rights activists will protest outside a meat packing plant in downtown Toronto Sunday.
The Farm Animal Rights Movement will demonstrate outside Quality Meat Packers on Wellington Street near Queen Street West and Bathurst Street at 11:30 a.m.
Activists plan to form a human chain around the building.
The protest is part of a coordinated series of demonstrations at slaughterhouses and other animal agriculture facilities across the world for the 30th annual World Day for Farmed Animals.
