Large watermain break in North York

Road work crews were called to a North York intersection to battle a massive watermain break on Monday morning.
The break, on Aspenwood Drive near Steeles Avenue and Don Mills Road, began around 3:20 a.m.
A CityNew cameraman said at one point, the water was as high as a telephone pole.
There was no damage to nearby houses.
