Skate Canada names 2 Torontonians to Sochi Winter Olympic team

Skate Canada officially named its Winter Olympic figure skating team Sunday, and two Torontonians have made the cut.
Patrick Chan and Dylan Moscovitch will lace up for Team Canada at the Sochi Olympic Games, which start Feb. 7.
Chan is a seven-time national champion in men’s singles after winning the title again on Saturday. He placed fifth at the Vancouver Olympics.
Moscovitch was born in Toronto but now lives in Waterloo. He skates pairs with partner Kristen Moore-Towers of St. Catharines.
The pair teamed up in 2009 and did not skate together in Vancouver.
In all, 17 Canadians will compete for figure skating medals at the Sochi Olympics.
