Garage fire closes Islington at Dundas; no injuries reported

Toronto firefighters were called to a house fire in the city’s west end on Thursday morning.
It appears the blaze began in a garage on Islington Avenue north of Dundas Street around 6 a.m.
Smoke was seen pouring from the building.
No injuries have been reported.
Islington was closed in both directions from Dundas to Riverbank Drive so crews could fight the fire.
TTC buses were also on diversion.
