Man arrested for alleged indecent act while holding cucumber in library

Toronto police have charged a man for allegedly performing an indecent act while holding a cucumber inside a Scarborough library.

Fredrick Tennyson Davis, 49, was arrested at the Agincourt Library in the Kennedy Road and Sheppard Avenue East area late last month.

Police say he was sitting in the library holding a cucumber, and was recognized as a suspect from a previous incident in April 2014.

Police said on April 7 the suspect sat beside a woman who was studying at the library and opened his laptop computer.

“He then began to commit an indecent act while holding a cucumber,” Toronto police said in a release Wednesday.

Davis, of Toronto, was charged with indecent act, and two counts of fail to comply probation.

Police believe there may be more victims.
