Toronto Public Health kicks off its flu shot clinics Thursday

Toronto Public Health will be launching its flu shot clinics on Thursday.

The first city-run clinic opens at Atrium on Bay.

To avoid line ups the city recommends making an appointment.

Pharmacies like Shoppers Drug Mark and Rexall PharmaPlus already started offering flu shot clinics earlier this week to high-risk candidates.

The flu kills about 3,500 Canadians every year.

Below is an interactive map of the locations for the Toronto flu clinics. Mobile viewers, click here.
