The front entrance of University of Toronto’s Woodsworth College residence was flooded after a pipe froze and burst early Monday morning.
The building, on Bloor Street West at St. George Street, was evacuated around 2 a.m.
Students took to Twitter to talk about how they were woken up to the alarm on Family Day, Monday.
The flooding was contained to the front of the building.
The problem was sorted out and students were allowed back in quickly.
Power and water to the building were not affected.
