THUNDER BAY, Ont. – An inquest began Monday in Thunder Bay, Ont., into the deaths of seven aboriginal youth from northern Ontario who were at high school in the city. A quick sketch:

Robyn Harper

Age: 18

From: Keeywaywin First Nation

Died: 2007

Other: Only female in group. Lived in boarding house. Attended Dennis Franklin Cromarty.

Cause of death: Acute alcohol poisoning.

Age: 21

From:from Mishkeegogamang First Nation

Died: 2006

Other: Attended Dennis Franklin Cromarty.

Cause of death: Not determined.

Kyle Morrisseau

Age: 17

From: from Keeywaywin First Nation

Died: 2009

Other: Found in McIntyre River in Thunder Bay, Ont. Lived at boarding home. Attended Dennis Franklin Cromarty High School.

Cause of death: Drowning, alcohol intoxication contributing.

Reggie Bushie

Age: 15

From: Poplar Hill First Nation

Died: 2007

Other: Found in McIntyre River. Lived at boarding house. Attended Dennis Franklin Cromarty High School.

Cause of death: Drowning, alcohol intoxication contributing.

Curran Strang

Age: 18

From: Pikangikum First Nation.

Died: 2005

Other: Found in McIntyre River. Attended Dennis Franklin Cromarty High School.

Cause of death: Drowning, alcohol intoxication contributing.

Jordan Wabasse

Age: 15

From: Webequie First Nation

Died: 2011

Other: Found in Kaministiquia River. Enrolled at Matawa Learning Centre.

Cause of death: Drowning.

Age: 15

From: Kasabonika Lake First Nation

Died: 2000

Other: Found in Kaministiquia River. Attended Dennis Franklin Cromarty.

Death: Drowning, alcohol intoxication contributing.
