Both the Toronto District School Board and the Peel School Board had some fun with Tuesday’s snow on Twitter.

In both regions, there simply wasn’t enough snow to cancel buses or close schools, much to the dismay of some students.

In Peel, when buses hadn’t been cancelled by 6:30 a.m., a Tweet went out saying it was time to start pouring cereal.

That wasn’t enough for one student, who wanted a final answer:

The initial, light-hearted post found an audience with adults …

… but students remained unimpressed.

In Toronto, the school board send out a Tweet with a link to a full list of delays. Again, there was little snow on the ground, and it wasn’t very cold (the temperature was around -6C), so all buses were running, and no schools were closed.

Which was bad news for Melody. However, she later changed her tune and ended up praising the school board.

After all, isn’t school worth it?
