Stabbing at Kingston and Galloway sends teen to hospital

A 17-year-old man is in the hospital in stable condition after being stabbed in the Kingston Road and Galloway Road area early on Sunday morning.
The incident happened just after 6 a.m.
Initially police on scene could not tell if his injuries were sustained by knife or gunshot but after examination in the hospital, it was confirmed that he was stabbed.
It appears he will recover.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
Note: This story has been updated. Earlier, police reported that the incident was a shooting.
