Victim and suspect identified in North York death

Toronto police have identified the victim and suspect after a woman was killed in North York last week.
Police were called to Otonabee Avenue and Lillian Street, near Yonge Street and Steeles Avenue area, around 11 a.m. on Jan. 16.
They found an injured woman and arrested a man at the scene.
Annunziata Melaragno, 68, of Toronto, later died.
Dario Melaragno, 73, also of Toronto, is now charged with second-degree murder. He is scheduled to appeared in court on Jan. 28.
Police will not release the cause of death at this time.
The homicide unit is continuing its investigation.
