Man seriously assaulted at Oshawa residence

Durham regional police’s homicide unit is investigating after a 19-year-old man was seriously assaulted at an Oshawa residence on Saturday.
Officers responded to a call around 3:20 a.m. in the area of Bloor Street east and Simcoe Street south.
Paramedics rushed the man to a Toronto hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police believe multiple people live at the residence.
It is unclear what started the assault.
Police have not given any information about suspects.
