Man recovering in hospital after shooting at Malton home

A 20-year-old man was seriously injured in a shooting at a Malton home on Friday.
Officers were called to Netherbrae Road, near Derry Road and Highway 427, around 11:30 p.m.
“Shots were fired through the doorway of a residence,” Const. Lori Murphy said.
The victim was rushed to a Toronto hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
Police have little information about the suspect or suspects, Murphy said, but it’s believed they left in a vehicle.
