High winds fuel massive shed fire in Grimsby

By News Staff

High winds from Tuesday night’s storm fuelled a massive shed fire in rural Grimsby.

The fire began on Mud Road near Park Road around 7:30 p.m.

Firefighters had to bring pools of water in to fight the flames, but the shed was destroyed.

The shed was used to hold boats and propane tanks. Some of the tanks did explode, but there were no injures. The building eventually collapsed. There’s no word on the cause of the fire.
