Man wielding sword Tasered and arrested near Hamilton school

Police say a 20-year-old sword-wielding man has been arrested near a Hamilton school and charges are pending.
Hamilton police say they received calls, including a 911 call from the man with the sword, on Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators say the man told 911 that he had a number of edged weapons in his possession and indicated he was going to purchase more.
Officers located the man on parkland next to a school and say he refused to drop the sword and began to remove his clothing.
The officers Tasered the man and placed him under arrest.
He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
