Are little Donald Trumps lurking in classrooms across the nation?
It’s a scary thought to some, but in light of one student’s answer to a simple exam question about Canada, it’s worth considering.
The student’s teacher apparently posted a photo of the test online, with the subject “This is why I teach.”
The question — What is the capital of Canada?
The answer: “Of course I know the capital of Canada. It’s a great country. It’s really great. Everyone wants to know what the capital of Canada is. And do you know what I tell them? I tell them that we have a foolproof plan for naming the capital of Canada. And that’s why we’re going to be the best at naming the capital of Canada. #MakeCanadaGreatAgain.”
The student’s long-winded response and bold Make Canada Great Again mimicry of Trump seemed to impress the teacher.
Despite never giving the correct answer “Ottawa” the student was awarded a +1.
The teacher’s post has been viewed on Imgur nearly 2.4 million times.
