Dramatic video has surfaced of shots being fired at a Dallas airport Friday just before noon.
According to Dallas Police Department Assistant Chief Randy Blankenbaker, a Dallas police officer shot a suspect following a domestic dispute near the baggage area of Dallas Love Field.
The incident started as an argument between a woman and the father of her children. The suspect was reportedly throwing rocks at the woman’s car when the officer stepped in. The suspect rushed the officer, who fired multiple shots.
The suspect appeared to be conscious when he left the scene in an ambulance. The woman and the officer were not injured.
Transportation Security Administration officials re-screened all passengers as a safety precaution because a number of passengers jumped through security lines when they heard the gunshots.
