Fall in Love Friday: Sheldon, a turtle

Sheldon (get it?) is a two-year-old red-eared slider turtle that was surrendered to the Toronto Humane Society.
While turtles can make great apartment pets – they’re quiet and they don’t need to be walked – they aren’t for everyone.
They require a large pond to swim, and a large space to roam around. They also need a diet high in protein and vegetables.
And, while they’re initially quite small, they grow much bigger very quickly.
