Toronto police say missing child, mom safely located

By News staff

Toronto police say a missing 11-month-old boy and his mother have been safely located.

Chevon St. Louis-Patterson Jr. were last seen near Allen Road and Sheppard Avenue at 2 p.m. on Thursday.

They were found safe and sound around 6 p.m. Friday night, however, police did not disclose where the two were located.

Police said the boy’s mother, 23-year-old Kayla St. Louis, went to see him earlier in the day. They went for a walk and did not return.

Police did not issue an Amber Alert situation because the mother does not intend to harm the child. However, police said they were concerned for the pair’s safety.
