Police release video of 3 Whitby stabbing suspects

Police have released surveillance video and announced a $2000 cash award for any tips that lead to the arrests of three stabbing suspects in Whitby.

The stabbing happened last Sunday morning, at approximately 2 a.m., at Brock an Dunlop Streets. A 29-year-old victim was transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries, after allegedly engaging in a verbal altercation with three males and two females.

The surveillance footage captured the three male suspects entering a business before the incident occurred.

The first suspect is described as a white male, who is bald and five-foot-nine with a skinny build and tattoos. He was reportedly wearing no shirt that night.

The second suspect is described a male in his mid-20’s with black short facial hair. He was captured wearing a red sweatsuit and was reportedly armed with a knife.

The third suspect is described as a male in his mid-20’s with a red-hooded sweater and dark pants.

The two other suspects are described as white females and were not captured by the surveillance camera.
