Tornado warning ended for GTA

Tornado warnings were issued for central Ontario, including Toronto, as a series of storms zipped across the region on Saturday night.

Environment Canada issued a warning for Toronto, York and Durham regions shortly before 3:30 p.m. It was called off shortly after 4 p.m.

Large hail, strong wind gusts, and heavy downpours were reported all across the province’s central and southern regions.
