2 women hit by projectiles at TTC bus stop in Scarborough

Police have issued a public safety alert after two women were hit by projectiles in Scarborough on Wednesday evening.
It happened at a TTC bus stop near Eglinton Avenue East and Ionview Road, west of Kennedy Road.
The women, aged 43 and 22, were hit by projectiles while waiting at the stop between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Both had non-life-threatening injuries; the 22-year-old had a cut.
Police are asking anyone with information to call them or Crime Stoppers.
