Brampton high school teacher charged with sexual assault

A Brampton teacher is facing several sex-related charges after allegedly getting into an inappropriate relationship with two teenage students.
It’s alleged that Gavin McAnally, 44, a teacher at St. Francis Xavier Secondary School in Mississauga, was involved with two students between January 2016 and May 2017.
McAnally, who has been a teacher for the Catholic District School Board for approximately 15 years, was arrested and charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, and sexual exploitation.
Police are concerned there may be more victims who have not yet come forward. Investigators are asking any potential victims or witnesses to come forward and contact them at 905-453-2121, ext. 3460.
