House fire in Vaughan considered suspicious; witnesses sought

York regional police and the Ontario Fire Marshal are investigating a suspicious two-alarm fire at a house in Vaughan.

Police were called to a home on Valeria Boulevard, in the Weston and Langstaff roads area just before 2 a.m. on Friday.

When officers arrived, they found smoke and flames coming from the house.

No one was home and the fire was extinguished.

Police are treating the fire as suspicious.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have surveillance video from the area to contact them.
