A man is facing mischief charges after an incident at a Brampton hotel.
The man was seen on a window ledge on the fifth floor of the Marigold Hotel, on Queen Street near Kennedy Road, around 11 p.m. on Tuesday.
He walked along the ledge, breaking numerous windows with his hands.
Crowds gathered to watch, and stayed for the rescue.
Police were in his room, speaking to him and trying to rescue him.
At one point, a police officer gave the man a cigarette. He smoked it outside. Then, police grabbed him, and pulled him back in through the window.
He was taken to hospital to be treated for cuts and bruises. He may undergo a mental health assessment.
