More anti-Semitic graffiti painted on Hwy. 400 overpass

York regional police are investigating after more anti-Semitic graffiti was found on a Highway 400 overpass.

Last week the phrase “Hitler was right” was spray painted in neon orange paint on a concrete construction barrier near an off-ramp close to Bass Pro Mills Drive in Vaughan.

On Thursday morning, police said they received several calls about similar graffiti on the Aurora Road overpass in King Township. Once again, the phrase “Hitler was right” was spray painted in neon orange — visible to traffic heading south on the 400.

“York Regional Police will not tolerate hate crime in any form,” police said in a release.

“These kinds of crimes not only hurt the community that has been targeted, but they hurt us all. We take great pride in being one of Canada’s safest and most inclusive communities and we remain vigilant in our fight against prejudice, discrimination and hate in our community.”

Investigators are asking any witnesses, anyone with information or anyone with dashcam footage in that area to please come forward.
