Man in hospital after Ellesmere crash

One man is in hospital with serious injuries after he crashed into a pole on Monday morning.

The single-vehicle crash happened on Ellesmere Road near Scarborough Golf Club Road around 2:45 a.m.

The pole was knocked down and his car ended up near a second pole.

The driver’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.
