Toronto police are searching for two suspects after responding to a gun call near Trinity Bellwoods park on Tuesday afternoon.
Police say they received a call about a “person with a gun” at around 1:20 p.m. in the Queen Street West and Palmerston Avenue area.
Police add that the suspects abandoned a stolen car and fled on foot.
One of the suspects may have been injured and police tell CityNews the Special Investigations Unit is on standby, but it’s too soon to say if they will invoke their mandate.
Police have set up a perimeter and are searching the area with the help of K-9 units.
