An elderly woman is in hospital after she was struck by a vehicle in Thornhill.
York regional police said the woman, believed to be in her 70s, was struck Thursday morning in the Yonge Street and Clarke Avenue West area.
The woman’s injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
Police said the vehicle remained at the scene.
There has been no word on charges.
