Woman killed in Hwy. 410 crash

A 26-year-old woman has died after a single-vehicle crash in Brampton.
The collision happened just after 11 p.m. on Wednesday on the Steeles Avenue ramp to southbound Highway 410.
Police said the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to flip over several times before it landing in a ditch. The woman was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
She was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries where she later died.
Highway 410 southbound was closed for several hours at Queen Street while police investigated.
The area has since reopened to traffic.
Peel police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
