Toronto police are concerned about public safety following a possible random knife attack in the Lawrence Park neighbourhood on Saturday.
A woman told police she was stabbed by an unknown assailant in the Weybourne and Dinnick crescents area near Lawrence Avenue and Yonge Street around the noon hour.
The woman managed to make her own way to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
While police have not confirmed that this was a random attack, investigators say they did find evidence of a violent struggle at the scene.
The suspect is described as white, thin build, in his 20s between five-foot-seven and five-foot-eight with a thin mustache and scruffy hair. He was wearing a black hoodie.
