Woman seriously injured after collision in Etobicoke

A woman in her 40’s is in hospital after a collision in Etobicoke on Friday night.

Police responded to a call at around 11:30 p.m. in the Kipling Avenue and Jutland Road area.

The pedestrian suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle and was rushed to hospital via emergency run.

Police say the driver did remain on scene but no word on whether charges will be laid.

Northbound lanes of Kipling Avenue were closed at north Queen Street for the investigation but have since reopened.
