Peel police have released security images of two suspects after an armed robbery at a Mississauga convenience store on Sunday afternoon.

Police say the men, one armed with a handgun, walked into the store near River Grove Avenue and Willow Way at around noon and restrained the lone employee.

During the robbery a customer walked into the store and was forced to lay face down on the ground while the duo scooped up cigarettes, lottery scratch tickets, and cash.

Neither victim was injured during the robbery and the suspects fled in a brown, four-door sedan.

Both suspects are described as Middle Eastern males between 20 and 25 years old. Both were wearing black hoodies and grey baseball hats. The suspect wielding the gun was also wearing a reflective construction vest.
