Four teens arrested in Beaches street robberies

Four teens have been arrested in connection with a series of street robberies in the Beaches.

Police allege that men wearing disguises would approach their victims and steal their property at knife-point.

On November 10, police arrested a 15-year-old and two 16-year-olds. They face a total of 15 charges including robbery, possession of a weapon and carrying a concealed weapon.

On November 15, police executed a search warrant in the area of Queen Street East and Woodbine Avenue and arrested another 16-year-old. He faces a total of six charges including robbery, possession of a weapon and carrying a concealed weapon.

Three of the boys have already made court appearances while the fourth youth is scheduled to appear in court next week.

The teens cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
