Brampton man charged with attempted murder in Oakville stabbing

An 18-year-old Brampton man is in custody following a stabbing incident in Oakville.
Halton Regional Police say they were called to Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital at around 2 a.m. Saturday morning after a man walked in suffering from a stab wound.
Police say the victim was stabbed in the lower torso following a verbal and physical altercation with another man at a home in northwest Oakville.
Police say the victim and the suspect knew each other.
Evan Wright has been charged with attempted murder and carrying a concealed weapon.
