Dec. 3 declared ‘International Day of Persons with Disabilities’ in Toronto

Dec. 3 has been declared “International Day of Persons with Disabilities” in Toronto, Mayor John Tory announced on Sunday.

The goal is to mobilize support for issues relating to persons with disabilities.

It also aims to bring attention and work towards removing various environmental, informational and attitudinal barriers that lead to the exclusion and isolation of people with disabilities.
