Two suspects sought in Scarborough Tim Horton’s assault

Toronto police are looking for two suspects in connection with an assault in Scarborough in November.
Police say the incident occurred at a Tim Horton’s on Victoria Park Avenue on Nov. 13 at around 7:30 p.m.
A 50-year-old man was approached by one of the suspects and was shown a piece of paper containing bank information. The suspect told the man to pay his debt before leaving the restaurant.
Once the victim left the establishment and tried to get into his car, he was confronted by the first suspect and another man.
Police say the first suspect then pistol-whipped the victim and ran away along with the second suspect.
Police have released a photo of the first suspect and describe him as a black man, six-feet tall, weighing approximately 230 pounds with a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a black coat, black pants, brown shoes and a grey toque.
The second suspect is described a sa 25-year-old black man, five-feet-ten-inches, weighing approximately 180 pounds with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a red coat and jeans.
